Your challenges

Join KPMG’s SAP team to help clients transform their Sales & Distribution and order-to-cash processes with SAP S/4HANA. Working across FMCG, Retail, Energy & Utilities and Discrete Manufacturing, you combine business process expertise with hands-on SAP knowledge, delivery leadership and trusted client relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the SAP SD / order-to-cash workstream across S/4HANA implementations, conversions and rollouts, from discovery and design through build, testing, cutover and hypercare.

  • Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops with business process owners; translate requirements into process designs, configuration decisions and functional specifications, applying clean-core principles.

  • Own functional design and guide hands-on configuration for quotations, sales contracts, sales orders, pricing, availability checks, delivery, billing, returns and credit management; assess intercompany and rebate requirements where relevant.

  • Manage workstream scope, estimates, resources, milestones and delivery quality using SAP Activate and KPMG delivery methods; coordinate dependencies across local and international teams.

  • Coordinate integration with Finance and accounts receivable, MM, EWM and Transportation Management, plus CRM, commerce and third-party platforms; work with technical specialists on APIs, EDI and SAP BTP / Integration Suite.

  • Lead SD data readiness, including Business Partner / customer data, pricing conditions and open sales documents; coordinate migration, reconciliation, data quality and business sign-off.

  • Own workstream risks, issues and change control; coordinate end-to-end testing, UAT, training and operational handover, with appropriate authorization and process controls.

  • Coach consultants, share knowledge and develop reusable Powered Enterprise assets; assess SAP Fiori, embedded analytics and SAP Business AI / Joule opportunities against client needs, data readiness and product availability.

  • Build long-term client relationships and support opportunity shaping, proposals, estimates and demonstrations; agree measurable outcomes such as order fulfilment reliability, billing accuracy and reduced manual processi

This is what you bring

  • Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in business, information technology, engineering or a related discipline.

  • 8+ years of SAP SD consulting experience, with hands-on SAP S/4HANA Sales design and configuration expertise across pricing, sales orders, delivery, billing and integration with Finance.

  • Experience delivering SAP transformations across requirements, design, build and deployment, including an S/4HANA implementation or rollout and demonstrable workstream or team leadership.

  • Clear communication, workshop facilitation and client advisory skills; ability to manage delivery priorities, resolve cross-functional issues, coach consultants and contribute to proposals.

  • Working knowledge of SAP Activate, fit-to-standard and clean-core principles, SAP Fiori, Business Partner data and SD integration; practical experience with testing, migration and cutover.

  • Preferred: current SAP S/4HANA Sales certification and experience in one or more of Public Edition, advanced ATP, Settlement Management, advanced intercompany sales, SAP Credit Management, BTP / Integration Suite or sales analytics. BRIM, SAP Subscription Billing and SAP Business AI / Joule exposure are additional advantages, not mandatory core SD requirements.

  • Professional proficiency in English; Dutch proficiency or willingness to develop it. Willingness to work with international teams and travel to client locations as engagements require.

Not sure whether to apply because you don’t meet every requirement? If this role excites you and you see yourself in the profile, we’d love to hear from you. Because we believe talent grows and shows up in many different ways.

What will you do?

As SAP SD Manager, you connect business priorities with practical SAP S/4HANA Sales solutions and lead the Sales & Distribution workstream within multidisciplinary transformation teams. You combine functional expertise with delivery accountability and client advisory skills, supporting engagements from acquisition and strategy through implementation and adoption.

You advise on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Private Edition or on-premise options according to the client landscape, distinguishing standard capabilities from extensions and separately scoped solutions. Using KPMG Powered Enterprise, its pre-designed leading practices and six-layer Target Operating Model, you help clients improve customer master data and credit processes, pricing, order promising, quotations, contracts, order fulfilment and billing.

Where subscription or complex monetization requirements arise, you collaborate with specialist teams rather than treating these as core SD functionality. You work towards agreed business outcomes without compromising maintainability, data integrity or controls.

Within the Powered Apps community, you collaborate with SAP, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, data and integration specialists across KPMG. You contribute to standardized delivery, pre-sales and reusable accelerators, while helping clients adopt fit-to-standard processes and clean-core extensions. The role offers opportunities to deepen cloud ERP expertise, develop leadership skills and explore analytics and responsible automation in Sales & Distribution.

If you are passionate about technology and have a strong track record of designing and implementing successful technology solutions, we want to hear from you. We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work with a talented and dynamic team.

To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sometimes there is a final interview.

Step 4. Offer
