Your challenges

As Product Engagement Specialist in Amstelveen, you turn product insights into communications, onboarding and engagement initiatives that help users discover, adopt and gain value from a digital platform. You combine data, creativity and technology to deliver scalable experiences for audiences across the global KPMG network.

Your challenges

  • Translate product developments and adoption priorities into clear, targeted communications and engagement campaigns.
  • Create scalable onboarding, guidance and learning content that helps users get started and discover new capabilities.
  • Deliver webinars, demonstrations, masterclasses and community activities for current and potential users.
  • Monitor engagement, feedback and product-usage signals and turn recurring patterns into actionable recommendations for the wider product team.
  • Improve engagement processes through reusable content, automation, GenAI and close alignment with the Agile product-development cycle.

This is what you bring

  • You have bachelor (required) or master degree (preferred), in communications, product marketing, customer education, digital products, customer success, change and adoption, or a related field.
  • You bring approximately 2+ years of relevant experience in product communications, digital engagement, customer education, adoption, community management, digital marketing or a comparable field.
  • You communicate confidently in English, as the role creates user-facing content and works with stakeholders across the global KPMG network.
  • You can translate product functionality and technical information into accessible content and coordinate communications, campaigns, webinars or learning activities independently.
  • You are comfortable using data, surveys and engagement metrics to identify patterns, develop recommendations and collaborate with product, design, research, technology and stakeholder teams.

Not sure whether to apply because you don’t meet every requirement? If this role excites you and you see yourself in the profile, we’d love to hear from you. Because we believe talent grows and shows up in many different ways.

What will you do?

s Product Engagement Specialist, you own the hands-on delivery of engagement and adoption initiatives across the user lifecycle. Your purpose is to help users understand the product, start successfully, discover relevant capabilities and continue to realise value. By combining user feedback, engagement data and product knowledge, you provide actionable insights and recommendations that enable the wider team to strengthen growth and adoption.

You plan and create communications for product updates, releases and new capabilities, adapting complex information into clear messaging for different audiences and channels. You maintain communication calendars, reusable formats, distribution lists and supporting materials, while coordinating reviews with product, brand and stakeholder teams.

You develop and maintain onboarding, tutorials, user guidance and educational resources. You also coordinate product demonstrations, webinars, showcases, masterclasses and community activities across the global KPMG network. Success stories and practical use cases help you make the product value tangible and encourage activation, continued use and discovery.

Measurement is an important part of the role. You track campaign performance, participation, content engagement, survey findings and relevant product-usage signals. You identify recurring themes and translate them into concrete recommendations for product discussions, roadmap priorities and future engagement activities. This ensures that adoption is measured rather than assumed and that the user perspective is consistently reflected in team decisions.

You work as part of a multidisciplinary Agile product team with the Product Owner, Product Growth Lead, Product & Digital Experience Advisor, UX Researcher, Product Designer and development colleagues. By participating in relevant planning, refinement and sprint reviews, you align communications, onboarding and enablement with the roadmap and release cycle. You operate independently within the team’s agreed direction and use GenAI, automation and digital tools thoughtfully to make content and engagement activities more scalable.

Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Excel, reporting or dashboard tools, content and video-creation tools, Azure DevOps, Synthesia or comparable platforms is beneficial. You do not need to be an expert in every tool. What matters most is your ability to learn quickly and apply technology effectively.

What success looks like

  • Users receive timely, relevant and understandable product communications.
  • Onboarding and educational resources remain current, useful and scalable.
  • Engagement and adoption are measured through relevant data and feedback.
  • Actionable user insights and recommendations influence product priorities and team decisions.
  • Reusable content, automation and GenAI reduce repetitive work and improve delivery consistency.

This is what we offer

  • Gross salary between €3,000 and €4,565 per month depending on your work experience, variable performance based reward, a fixed expense allowance and a  fixed working from home allowance per working day.

In the Talent Pitch, we not only get to know you, but you also get to know us better. We will also give you a tour of the world of KPMG. During the pitch, you will complete a personality questionnaire and take an aptitude test.

Step 2. The first interview

After completing the KPMG Talent Pitch, we will invite you for a first interview with a recruiter. In some cases, a colleague from the relevant department will also be present at the interview. This interview is a mutual introduction, where you also get the chance to ask all the questions you probably have.

Step 3. Follow-up interview

Did you have a positive conversation and are you still enthusiastic? If we also see a match, a second meeting will follow. In this second interview, we will delve deeper into the role and the substantive themes you will be dealing with. You may be asked to prepare a business case for the interview. Sometimes there is a final interview.

Step 4. Offer

Is there a match? Then we will make you an offer and hopefully you will start at KPMG soon. The offer will not only include your salary but also all our employment conditions, such as your pension, vacation days, and more! Do you agree with our offer? Then we congratulate you as our new colleague and take the last step.

Step 5. Screening

We want to be an integral and reliable organization in all respects, so we screen everyone who comes to work with us. DISA conducts this screening and checks references, among other things. Everything in order? The path to a great career at KPMG is open to you. You will then start with the onboarding program.
