Rumeysa Unal (Inclusion, Diversity & Equity specialist), is 24 years old and has been working at KPMG for a year. Her role includes providing a safe workplace where people feel comfortable, respected and valued. She uses her openness to connect people from different cultures and perspectives.
KPMG is open to change and embraces the diversity of their employees, which gives Rumeysa the opportunity to be her unique self. “Being yourself is the most valuable thing you can bring to the table.” Growing up in many cultures has made her aware of the importance of respecting everyone, regardless of the differences.

Rumeysa’s family means a lot to her. Her parents instilled in her the value of helping others, which she carries into her daily life at KPMG. It is one of her greatest motivators and the reason why she is able to make a difference to so many people.
