Manager(Senior) Innovation and Portfolio Management

The Manager(Senior) Innovation and Portfolio management will be responsible for overseeing the InnoWay initiatives and managing the application portfolio within the organization. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure the successful onboardng of new initraives in the innoway process and maintaining a comprehensive overview of all projects, technology and applications in use. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, application management, and innovation coordination.
This is what you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology(IT) , Software engineering, Quality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, application management, or innovation coordination.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and innovation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using project management and application portfolio management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or application management (e.g., ITIL).
- Experience working in a large, complex organization.
What will you do?
- Support and Coordinate InnoWay process for the three bussiness units , ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Facilitate the intake, bussiness case creation , Risk Assessment, and prioritization of ideas and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions.
- Monitor and report on the progress of InnoWay projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
- Maintain a comprehensive application portfolio, ensuring all applications are registered and up-to-date in the Application Management Portfolio (APM) system.
- Evaluate and rationalize the application portfolio to optimize software assets and reduce redundancy.
- Collaborate with application owners to ensure compliance with governance and security standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations for application lifecycle management, including end-of-life planning and strategic investments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for innovation and application portfolio management within the organization.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments to drive successful project outcomes.
- Prepare and present reports on the status of innovation initiatives and application portfolio management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all projects and applications.
- Ensure transparency and accountability through regular updates and communication with stakeholders.
- Execute risk procedures involving 16.6.4 and 5.3N1, ensuring compliance with the Quality and Risk Management Manual. This includes reviewing and approving new or significantly modified technology solutions, and ensuring all necessary assessments and approvals are completed
