Global Cloud Products Leader
Your challenges
Manage aspects of the Product Lifecycle including: product backlogs, roadmaps, product launches and maintenance, communications, product performance metrics, Scrum based agile delivery and accountability for investment Programs
Financial and people management of the Cloud Enterprise Product team. Responsible for defining and proactively monitoring key financial and performance metrics to support and inform product decisions. Engaging in problem solving with analytics to determine trends and root causes.
Present and collaborate with senior stakeholders from member firms, global functions and other areas of Global Technology & Knowledge to create strategic roadmaps for Cloud Enterprise Products.
Partner with strategic suppliers to implement best practice approaches to cloud.
This is what you bring
- Experience of working in an agile operating environment with 15-20 years of IT experience and 5-7 years of leading Cloud engineering teams
- Proven ability to dynamically prioritize work efforts to meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Able to reason about specific competitor features as applied to specific use cases
- Able to evaluate information quickly, look beyond the information, gather appropriate facts and evidence and explore potential root causes before a conclusion is made.
- Modern Cloud Native Development evangelist for the Cloud Services team
- Innovation driven mindset to enable latest capabilities on Cloud platforms, while advising customers on how to adopt them
- Ability to provide cost-efficiency options for cloud services to ensure that consumption costs are effectivel,y managed in partnership with Cloud finops teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English - verbal and written and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization. Ability to clearly communicate product, technical and business requirements
- Experience managing resources in a fast moving environment and on projects with evolving requirements and accelerated timelines.
- Strong coordination and project management skill required for coordinating team tasks and understanding of full project cycles for supporting deployment projects.

What will you do?
The Global Cloud Products Leader is a critical role responsible for end to end product lifecycle, from ideation to retirement, of cloud products across Azure and Google GCP. The success of this role depends on high levels of collaboration, leadership and communication with senior stakeholders across KPMGI and the Member Firms. This role must work closely with the Global Functions and GET Operations who run the cloud service offerings on a day to day basis.
The role is responsible for translating KPMG's Digital Strategy into a well defined blueprint that uses Cloud Products to enhance KPMG's business solutions. This role will lead a team of Cloud architects and engineers to create strategies and roadmaps, then lead the implementation of new Cloud products being used across KPMGI and Member Firms.
This role requires a technically strong individual with a Cloud background who has demonstrated skill in managing architecture and engineering teams. Also critical is an understanding of how Cloud enhances Digital Transformation and identifies new ways of helping bring new business solutions to market while remaining secure. Success in this role will be measured by the adoption of Global Cloud Products as the preferred solution for our business teams, and enable KPMG’s growth in market share while rapidly adopting disruptive technologies.
Part of the responsibilitites:
- Plans, budgets, initiates and sponsors investment projects to deploy new products and services. Accountable for the timely delivery of the investments within the planned budget.
- Oversees the team’s activities to meet deliverable dates for next generation services in accordance with best practices in the industry on life cycle management of the products and services.
- Manages the metrics on total cost of ownership (TCO) for the Services and acts as the ultimate authority in determining the product's financial efficiency.
- Demonstrate ability to lead discussions in a constructive way with clear goals, deliverables and with documented agreements and follow up actions.
- Build constructive working relations across the different teams, functions, cultures, genders and demonstrate KPMG behaviors and value.
- Ability to interact professionally under pressure with a wide range of customers ranging from end-users to IT staff, to management, to executives, to external service providers.
- Confidence in dealing with staff, managers and partners across the firm
- Engage with the demand management & delivery functions to ensure success, and feedback improvements into upstream product capabilities
- Bring an automation first mind-set ensuring delegation, autonomy, and simplicity for the global cloud consumer ecosystem.
- Participate in various governance forums including serving as sponsor for Cloud product governance, and engaging in other technology governance bodies.
