A passion for volunteering
Marc van Estrik (senior manager Risk Management) is 59 years old and is committed to volunteer work in addition to his work at KPMG. He loves football and, together with André van der Lei, a former professional football player, has supported communities in Kumasi, Ghana. They have helped children from difficult backgrounds with little money or without parents through sports, education and the installation of public facilities such as toilets and showers.
At KPMG, we believe in work that matters. We encourage our employees to use their talents and passions to make a positive difference in the world. Marc is an inspiring example of this; he really enjoyed the enthusiasm the children showed when he came to their rescue and is very grateful for his experience.
