Temporary Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Advisor
We are looking for an experienced Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (IDE) professional who is looking for temporary employment (1 year). Our HR Leadership, Culture and Inclusion team is looking for an advisor who can manage the IDE agenda, communicate effectively with our many stakeholders and come up with good practices to further prioritize IDE throughout our organization.
Your challenges
- Coordinate and drive the operational IDE agenda within the broader scope of KPMG NL
- Implement initiatives and programs that will increase gender and cultural diversity in leadership
- Provide guidance on implementing inclusive and equitable practices throughout the organization, from recruitment and performance and development management to day-to-day cultural awareness.
- Create innovative ways to raise awareness about IDE initiatives internally
- Collect and analyze demographic and engagement data to identify trends and areas requiring attention, and propose and implement action steps
- Setting priorities and prioritizing workload based on business needs and IDE Impact plan/business plan.
This is what you bring
- At least 5 years of similar experience in the field,
- Within a comparable scope/company, making you accustomed to the type of organization and stakeholder field.
- C1-level Dutch language proficiency (reading, writing and speaking), combined with excellent English proficiency
- Professional and intellectual capacities at the academic or higher vocational education level
- A talent for creating personal connections and the eagerness to create change
- Innovative thinker who can develop and implement creative IDE solutions
- Available for a minimum of 1 year, for 40-32 hours per week.
What will you do in this position?
As our Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Advisor, you are responsible for a multitude of IDE activities through which you expand the story of IDE x KPMG as a cohesive and compelling narrative. Together with our team, including one other dedicated IDE specialist, you are a source of information and creativity. You know how to maintain IDE’s status on a Board of Management agenda and can act as an internal consultant on topics such as neurodiversity, personalizing the pipeline and measuring diversity.

The HR Leadership, Culture and Inclusion team is a compact but effective team whose members - in-company advisors - make an impact on KPMG's People strategy and day-to-day business operations. The Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Advisor plays a pivotal role in shaping a culture that values diversity and ensures equal opportunities. Due to maternity leave we are looking to fill this position on a temporary basis, you will enter into a 1 year employment contract. For 40 hours per week, 36 or 32 hours is possible. There is no guarantee that employment can be extended. Fulfilling this position on freelance basis is not an option.
